I need some Sense.

I am a Jane Austen fan, I think it is because I am a girl. Masterpiece (they have dropped the theater, it is so much more 2008 now) presented a new version of Sense and Sensibility. Which I loved, it seemed more real then the Ang Lee beautiful version. Elinor was much more believable then Emma Thompson who looked fifty, hooking up with with Hugh Grant. Instead Elinor was a perfect cross between Emily Shakespeare and her sister Amy. And MaryAnne might as well be played my Liz Davis. Anyways it was a good movie. I really just wanted everyone to see this Emily look a like.

Yes, yes ... I can totally see the Emily and Liz look-a-like thing just from the cover. Now I must watch it! Does this mean you have a copy I can borrow?

Better yet, can I watch it at your house with a bunch of blubbering girlfriends?

I'm so sad I missed it...they being my sisters and all! Fun blog reads, we miss you.
And adore you...and your children. Keep starting over John, we do a lot of it. I think our kids make us better people.

I, Emily, ahem, Elinor, will second Andi's idea. Can we all get together and watch this? Actually should I view it privately first to see if I do anything especially embarrasing?

Can I come, too? I might have a date, but he hasn't called yet, so I might not. And what is better for a night of no boy calling you than hanging out with the girls watching some Jane Austen?
